How much ice would I need?
How much ice would I need?
To ensure optimal cooling in your PodPro, we suggest adding between 15-40 lbs (7-18 kg) of ice per session, based on the initial water temperature. The exact amount needed will vary depending on factors such as your tap water temperature, local climate, and desired coldness. In colder climates, you might find that adding ice is unnecessary.
For a longer-lasting cooling solution, consider our Water Chillers for a consistent ice cold temperature all year round.
Thanks to the PodPro's insulation, the water remains cold for longer periods, reducing the need for additional ice after the initial cooling.
Can I use it outside?
Can I use it outside?
Our PodPro is designed to withstand weather and UV exposure, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor setups, even in freezing temperatures. The insulation layer significantly slows down the water's freezing process. However, we recommend stirring the water at least once a day to prevent it from freezing solid.
If you're using the PodChiller outdoors, exercise caution in freezing conditions and follow the guidelines provided in the chiller's manual for optimal use and safety.
